Confirmation of Purkinje cell loss using immunohistochemical markers. Dual labeling with anti-calbindin and anti-parvalbumin, GluN1 or GABAA α1 antibodies. Colocalization was observed with calbindin and parvalbumin in the Purkinje cell layer in controls (A) and 7 days after CA/CPR (B). Colocalization was observed in the Purkinje cell layer for calbindin with NR1 (C) and with GABAA α1 (D) 7 days after CA/CPR. Gaps in Purkinje cell layer are indicated by white bracket. N = 3-4.
