Caveolin-1 knockdown does not impact CSE effects on [Ca2+]i responses. A: fASM cells transfected with caveolin-1 small-interfering RNA (siRNA) demonstrated significantly decreased expression of caveolar proteins compared with controls, indicating adequate transfection efficiency.
