In order to perform direct comparisons between the two drugs at similar depths of general anesthesia, the data was grouped by BSP level. (A) The median durations of bursts and suppressions were significantly longer during sevoflurane anesthesia than during propofol anesthesia. (B) Median peak-to-peak amplitudes (μV) were significantly greater during sevoflurane general anesthesia for both bursts and suppressions. (C) Median power (dB μV2/s) for individual bursts and suppressions was significantly higher during sevoflurane general anesthesia.
