A model of human genomic sequences that incorporates selection on exons and conserved noncoding elements (with separate distributions of selection coefficients) and local recombination rates. Selection coefficients on exons and conserved noncoding elements were taken from Boyko et al. [2008] and Torgerson et al. [2009], respectively. The positions of the conserved noncoding elements were inferred by Siepel et al. [2005], and the recombination map was inferred by International HapMap Consortium et al. [2007].
