Offspring from both lean and obese dams were cross-fostered to lean uncannulated surrogate dams on PND2, restricting exposure to maternal obesity to gestation alone. Average Ct values are provided for each gene as an indicator of relative abundance. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM. * indicates a statistically significant difference between Lean and Obese (P < 0.05).
