Mutability of G. kaustophilus, E. coli, and B. subtilis. Generation frequencies of Rifr or Strr cells (per 109 viable cells) from G. kaustophilus MK242p70, E. coli DH5α, and B. subtilis 168 were analyzed using Rif and Str at low (solid bars) and high (open bars) concentrations.
