IMR-32 cells were exposed to different doses (10, 20, 30 µg/ml) of n-6 (Fig. 2A) and n-3 (Fig. 2B) fatty acids and incubated for 24 hrs. At the end of treatment period, cell viability was measured by MTT assay. All values are expressed as mean ± standard error (n = 6). *P<0.05 when compared to control. LA – Linoleic Acid, AA – Arachidonic acid, GLA – Gamma Linoleic Acid, DGLA – Dihomo Gamma Linoleic Acid, ALA – Alpha Linoleic Acid, DHA – Docosahexaenoic Acid, EPA – Eicosapentaenoic Acid.
