Thermal hypersensitivity in CFA-induced inflammatory pain. Thermal pain hyperalgesia was observed at various time points after CFA injection into rat vibrissal pad. CFA-injected rats show significantly reduced head withdrawal latency time to heat stimulation compared to the vehicle-injected and naïve rats. Data is expressed as means±SE. Asterisks indicate a statistically significant difference between CFA and vehicle. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.001 (Student's t-test).
