Quinine is denoted as substrate A and chloroquine as substrate B. P is the proportion of quinine in the chloroquine/quinine mixture, v_a and v_b, are the respective rates of quinine and chloroquine transport, and V_total is the sum of v_a and v_b. The values for v_a and v_b were calculated from the kinetic data presented in Figs. 2A and 4A.
