Primary tissues from uterine serous carcinoma (USC1), were transplanted under the renal capsule of immunodefficient ovariectomized (OVX) mice with E2 pellet. At 6 to 8 weeks after transplant, tumor was harvested and cut into multiple 1.5×1.5 mm³ pieces, which were grafted under the renal capsule (1–2 pieces/kidney) for continuous passage. At passage 3 (P3), tissues were transplanted in OVX mice with or without E2. USC1 tissue grafts and H&E stainings are shown. T, Tumor; K, Kidney. Scale bar; 200 um.
