Cost-effectiveness results of transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TVAR) the compared to medical management for patients with severe aortic stenosis. The incremental costs and QALYs of the TAVR for each input set on the Pareto frontier (circles) and the top 260 best-fitting sets ranked according to an equal weighting of fits measured as the squared difference (triangles) or the absolute percent difference (crosses) between each calibration target and the corresponding model output are plotted. These results were used to generate the cost-effectiveness acceptability curves for the intervention that would be estimated under the different input set ranking metrics.
