Binding of the indicated concentrations of CXCL4^47–70 and CXCL4L1^47–70 to heparin was analyzed through measurement of peptide binding to sensorchip-immobilized heparin (A). Data are expressed as Resonance Units (RU). Alternatively, GAG binding was evaluated by immobilizing low molecular weight heparin on EpranEx plates (B). Amino-terminally biotinylated CXCL4^47–70 and CXCL4L1^47–70 interacting with the heparin-coated plate were detected with peroxidase-conjugated streptavidin.
