(A) p21 expression was silenced by shRNA in TE-1 cells, as demonstrated by western blot. 3# shRNA was selected to do the following experiment. (B) MTT assay showed silencing of p21 in TE-1 cells permitted miR-31 overexpression to inhibit proliferation (left). Moreover, suppressive effect of miR-31 depended on silenced effect of p21 in TE-1 (right). (C) Colony formation assay indicated overexpression of miR-31 inhibited colony formation of TE-1 after p21 silencing.
