Antinociceptive effects of intrathecal injection of WB4-24 in the rat formalin test (A), Six groups of rats received intrathecal injections of either the vehicle (1% DMSO and 19% PEG400 in saline, 10 μL) or WB4-24 (0.3, 1, 3, 10, or 30 μg) 30 min before paw injections of 50 μL 5% formalin. Nociceptive behaviour was quantified by counting the number of flinches in the formalin-injected paws in 1 min epochs (B). The data are presented as means ± SEM (n = 6 per group).
