Effect sizes for changes in the intervention group relative to the control group. Note: Effect sizes are computed as d = (M_Train_T1-M_Train_T0)/[(1/2)(SD_Train_T0+SD_Train_T1)] – (M_Control_T1-M_Control_T0)/[(1/2)(SD_Control_T0+SD_Control_T1)], that is, the mean differences in the training group, standardized by their standard deviation, minus the same measure in the control group (cf. Cohen, 1988).
