Differentially expressed proteins were entered into Pathway Studio to identify the corresponding signaling pathways that potentially regulate capacitation. Among the differentially expressed proteins (>3-fold) of before- and after-capacitation, at least 5 exhibited regulatory roles in single or more pathways simultaneously (P < 0.05).
