Spleens of control, EAE (14 dpi) and either cinnamon- or vehicle-treated EAE mice (14 dpi receiving cinnamon/vehicle from 8 dpi) were analyzed for the mRNA expression of Th17-specific factors (RORγt and IL-17) (A). Splenocytes isolated from different groups of mice were analyzed by FACS for RORγt & CD4 (B) and IL-17 & CD4 (C). The MFI of RORγT (D) and IL-17 (E) in CD4+ population were calculated by using the CellQuest software. Data are mean ± SEM of 3 mice per group. a p< 0.001 vs normal; bp<0.001 vs EAE.
