Versican-silenced GL261 resulted in smaller tumors depending on the presence of microglia. Control and microglia-depleted brain slices (by treatment with clodronate-filled liposomes) from 16 day-old mice were implanted with 5000 shcon or shver EGFP-GL261 cells.
