^a“Density” refers to areas of the protein bands. Total TERT protein content was calculated for each fraction after estimating the areas of the protein bands in arbitrary units (AU), dividing them by the quantity (μg) of proteins loaded on each lane of the gel, and then multiplying these values by the total protein content of the fractions.
