Effect of treatment after onset of uveitis with melatonin on PGE2 and PGF levels in the aqueous humour from eyes injected with vehicle or LPS. At 36 h post-injection, LPS induced a significant increase in PG levels, whereas both treatments with melatonin (i.e. Mel 12 h and Mel 24 h) significantly decreased PGE2 and PGF content.
