The intracellular thiol levels represent concentrations in a final volume of 350 μl containing cell lysates of 1 × 107 Leishmania promastigotes. The intracellular spermidine levels indicate concentrations of spermidine in a final volume of 200 μl containing cell lysates of 1 × 106 Leishmania promastigotes. The control shows concentrations without any treatment. Other data show concentrations with or without supplementation with treatment with hypericin (18 μM).
