Protein Expression of Claudin-7 during Mouse Kidney Development. Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded sections taken from mouse kidneys at embryonic day (E) 16.5, postnatal day (P) 1 and P28 as shown. Claudin-7 is expressed in ureteric bud trunks and tips at E16.5 and in distal tubular segments as well at P1 and P28, based on its overlapping expression with Calbindin-D-28K and with Uromodulin. A higher magnification of the boxed regions are shown to the right of each image. Scale bar = 50 μm.
