Reduced levels of Srp9 are associated with reduced glutamate receptor currents. Voltage-clamp recordings of CA1 neurons in hippocampal slices of P14 mice. (A) AMPA current amplitudes were measured at −90 mV, NMDA current amplitudes at +50 mV. Quantification of the amplitudes revealed smaller AMPA (B; t53 = 2.098, P = 0.041, C57BL/6J (n = 27); 1.37 ± 0.1 CSS1 (n = 28); 1.10 ± 0.1) and NMDA currents (C; t49 = 2.687, P = 0.01, C57BL/6J (n = 27); 0.26 ± 0.02 CSS1 (n = 24); 0.18 ± 0.01) in CSS1 compared to C57BL/6J mice.
