Linear effects of age in cortical thickness. Blue represents decreases with age, and red/yellow represents increases with age. Linear declines of cortical thickness with age were widespread and most robust in dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, frontal pole, superior parietal lobe, precuneus, lingual gyrus, and superior temporal sulcus. Results are first masked with an FDR thresholded at pFDR = 0.05 in each hemisphere.
