Table 5.

Parameters and formula of linear regression model of averaged logit-transformed target fixations with trial number centered one standard deviation above the mean. Because the model failed to converge with random effects by items in addition to by participants, we ran an additional model containing only random effects by items (intercepts and slopes for context-type, target-word realization, trial number, and the interaction between context-type and target-word realization). Effects were qualitatively similar between the two models, though the interaction between context-type and target-word realization failed to reach significance, marginal or otherwise (β =−0.114, t=−1.163).
