Expression levels of the Epab mRNA in the postnatal mouse ovaries. The Epab gene expression was normalized to β-actin levels, and the relative expression profiles of the target gene were calculated by using the 2^-ΔΔCt (cycle threshold) method. The 60-week was used as a calibrator, and its values were set to 1. The findings revealed that prepubertal mouse ovaries had significantly higher Epab gene expression when compared to later developmental terms. In general, Epab gene expression was gradually decreased during later developmental periods and reached its lowest levels in the aged mouse ovaries.
