ML Ne is the variance effective population size (NeV) estimated using the pseudo-maximum likelihood method. Pollak Ne, Nei/Tajima Ne and Jorde/Ryman Ne are the different measures of the variance effective population size estimated using the moments-based temporal methods. Figures in square brackets are 95% confidence intervals for NeV.
