(A) Quantitative reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction was performed for MMP19 in NSCLC (adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma) compared with corresponding nonneoplastic lung tissues. The differences in mRNA levels of MMP19 were compared by the Wilcoxon two-sample test. Data represent the mean ± SD (*P < 0.05).
