Time (in seconds) runs from the left to the right of each abscissa (i.e., two lines depict 20 seconds of a 6 minute session). The greater peak force (11.4 vs 7.1 g) and slower licking speed (4.9 vs 5.5 licks/s) are apparent in the older rat.
