Photobleaching sequences of rhodopsin and E181Q rhodopsin. For each photointermediate, the λmax is shown at both room temperature and low temperatures. The room temperatures are based on the values obtained by Lewis et al. [39] and the low-temperature data is based on the deconvolution of the spectra presented in this study. At low temperatures, no BSI was observed for rhodopsin, and no Lumi II was observed for either rhodopsin or E181Q.
