MyoR represses Cx30.2 expression in vivo. (A) The AVC region of MyoR+/+; Cx30.2-lacZ/+ (n = 3) and MyoR−/−; Cx30.2-lacZ/+ (n = 2) littermates was dissected at E16.5, and lysates were assessed for β-galactosidase activity as a quantitative measure of Cx30.2-lacZ expression. Enzyme activity is shown relative to MyoR+/+; Cx30.2-lacZ/+ AVC levels. (B) Endogenous Cx30.2 expression was measured by qRT-PCR in the E16.5 AVC of MyoR+/+ (n = 10) and MyoR−/− (n = 10) animals.
