Regression coefficients beta corresponding to the mean difference per 60 minutes/day greater sedentary time. Model 1 was adjusted for sex, age, and time accelerometer worn. Model 2 was adjusted for above covariates and educational attainment, marital status, smoking and drinking status, total calorie intake, saturated fat consumption, use of medication, and occupation. Model 3 was adjusted for the same covariates as Model 2 and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA). N = 579 for waist circumference, N = 354 for HbA1c, and N = 655–661 for other outcomes due to missing values. Data on triglyceride, blood glucose, and HbA1c were log-transformed.
