Stopping latency in GUD WIP. Output speed during stopping with three important events marked: First, upon entering a double support state, the new state’s duration is estimated (Equation 8). Second, when that estimate is exceeded, the output speed decreases to match the frequency required by the state’s actual duration (Equation 7). Third, once the step frequency drops below a minimum threshold, all output is stopped.
