Fig 5 — A, B) K14 was expressed in corneal epithelium (CE) in both WT and Fgfr2 ^CKO eyes, and in eyelid (EL) epithelia in WT eyes. Eyelid fusion did not occur in Fgfr2 ^CKO eyes (B). C, D) K12 expression was found in corneal epithelium of WT eyes but not in Fgfr2 ^CKO eyes, suggesting that corneal epithelial cell differentiation was abnormal in mutant eyes. (LE = lens epithelium.)
