Upregulation of hyaluronan in the arterial compartment at 6 weeks. ELISA measurements of hyaluronan in allografts and isografts (A). Differences at 6 weeks were significant P<0.01. Hyaluronan surrounded infiltrating mononuclear cells in the neointimal lesions and adventitial of arteries as well as the interstitium of (B).
