Forskolin administration reduces bacterial load in the kidneys. Bacterial loads in kidneys were examined at 6, 24, and 48 hours after inoculation of J96. For the 6-and 24-hour groups, a single administration of forskolin or vehicle control was given at 1 hour after the inoculation. For the 48-hour group, an additional administration of forskolin was given at 24 hours after the inoculation.
