An-Mps1-GFP localization during mitosis. A-C: In G2, An-Mps1 is at the SPB. At mitotic entry (D-F), as judged by the beginning of chromosomal condensation, An-Mps1 translocates from the SPB to the KTs. 240 sec later (G-I), still prior to anaphase, the An-Mps1 signal is completely gone. J-L: This nucleus then divides, and An-Mps1 is still not present. Images are three dimensional projections from a time-lapse data set collected at 30 sec intervals at 25°C.
