Indicated pGL3‐derived constructs were transfected in HepG2 cells, and levels of luciferase and renilla were measured 24 hours later. pTRIB1 contains a 1.9‐kb fragment of TRIB1 promoter region. pTRIBAL corresponds to a 497‐bp fragment encompassing the conserved TRIBAL promoter region.
