The area under ROC curve (95% CI) of the new PI, CTP, MELD and MELD-Na scoring systems were 0.93 (0.84–0.98), 0.66 (0.52–0.78), 0.77 (0.64–0.87) and 0.68 (0.54–0.80), respectively.
