STC1 increases SIRT3 and UCP2 expression in vitro via AMPK. (A) STC1 activates AMPK and increases the expression of SIRT3 and UCP2 in vitro. AMPK activity (pAMPK) was sampled 15 minutes after treatment with rSTC1, whereas the expressions of SIRT3 and UCP2 were sampled 3 hours after treatment with rSTC1.
