Dimensions of the masks are shown in (B). The height of the wells is 150 µm. (C) AFM cantilever (starred, NP-O, Bruker) accessible area usually used for SCFS adhesion experiments. Dark red indicates the area where the PDMS masks do not interfere with measurements, where the pale red area indicates regions where small interference occurs, and white areas are where measurements are not possible.
