Growth curve of multidrug-resistant S. Typhimurium isolate 1434 exposed to chloramphenicol. Serial two-fold dilutions of chloramphenicol (0, 2-512 μg/ml) were added at OD600 = 0.15 to the eight isolates in the study to assess the effect chloramphenicol exposure had on growth. The growth curve of isolate 1434 is representative of the other isolates, with the exception of 4584.
