Hemodynamic effects of l-NAME (50 mg·kg−1·day−1, n = 8) and ANG II (500 ng·kg−1·day−1, n = 7) in conscious chronically instrumented rats. ANG II led to a significant ∼1.5-fold greater increase in mean arterial pressure (MAP; A) and ∼2-fold greater increase in renal vascular resistance (RVR; B), which resulted in an ∼1.5-fold greater decrease in renal blood flow (RBF; C).
