Mean change in measures of arterial stiffness (A) and endothelium independent vasodilatation (EID) (B) after 12 wk of treatment with placebo vs. 6R-BH4. There was a significantly greater reduction in central augmentation index (AIx), AIx corrected for heart rate (AIx at 75), and a significant improvement in EID in the 6R-BH4 group compared with placebo.
