(B–E) When analyzed by spine type (stubby, mushroom, and long), CIE and 0 day withdrawal did not affect spine density, length, volume, or terminal point diameter (p > 0.05 for all analyses). (F) Head volume of mushroom spines was also unaffected by CIE exposure.
