CSPalpha expression is increased in Alzheimer’s disease cerebellum. (A) CSPalpha expression in post-mortem cerebellum from patients with severe Alzheimer’s disease (n = 10; average age at death = 74.7 ± 4.0 years) and control subjects (n = 10; average age at death = 76.3 ± 4.2 years). CSPalpha expression was normalized against NSE. (B) CSPalpha expression in post-mortem cerebellum from patients with mild Alzheimer’s disease (n = 10; average age at death = 81.3 ± 4.1 years) and control subjects (n = 10). CSPalpha expression was normalized against NSE. (C) The same samples as in panel (A) were used but CSPalpha expression was normalized against synaptophysin.
