Alkaline-agarose gel electrophoresis of the products of DNA synthesis on the minicircle. DNA synthesis was carried out for 30 or 60 min at 37 °C using the minicircle template with mixtures containing either [α-32P]dTTP or [α-32P]dATP to follow leading and lagging strand synthesis, respectively. The amounts of ICP8 are indicated. Products were analyzed using electrophoresis through 0.8% alkaline-agarose gels.
