CKHE-E induced apoptosis in human hepatoma cells. (A) HA22T/VGH cells and HepG2 cells were treated with 0.5 or 1.0 mg/mL of CKHE-E for 24 hours, and examined by DNA fragmentation assay. (B) HA22T/VGH cells and HepG2 cells were treated with 0.5 or 1.0 mg/mL of CKHE-E for 24 and 48 hours, respectively.

Notes: Cell apoptosis percentages were determined by flow cytometry with Annexin-V/PI staining. The experiments were repeated three times.
