Effect of PLE on adhesion in human colon and lung cancer cells. HCT116 and H1299 cells were suspended with 0, 87.5, 175, and 350 µg/ml concentration of PLE and plated into a fibronectin (1 µg/ml)-coated 96-well plate. After 2 h, adherent cells were stained with crystal violet, dissolved with sodium dodecyl sulfate, and then quantified by reading the absorbance at 540 nm using a plate reader. Data are shown as mean ± SE of four determinations. Different letters (a-b) indicate statistical differences among different concentrations by Tukey's test (P < 0.05).
