In vivo antitumor effects of quercetin treated with tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) in SKOV-3 xenografts. SKOV-3 tumor cells were implanted into athymic nude mice. Mice received 2 mg/kg quercetin by oral gavage with/or without TRAIL 100 ng/day as described in the Materials and Methods Section. (a) Effect of TRAIL, quercetin combination with or without TRAIL on ovarian tumor growth. *P < 0.05 when compared to control. (b) Animal weights during the course of the experiment.
